Brice Christianson (on the left) is the founder and CEO of P-X-P and a proud CODA residing in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Interpreter Training Program in 2013. He is thought to be the first North American Professional Sports ASL Interpreter, having interpreted for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2019. In 2022, he became the first ASL interpreter for a commissioner’s address with the NHL and Commissioner Gary Bettman. Brice has continued to break new ground by creating the first ASL alt cast led by Deaf broadcasters in collaboration with the National Hockey League, known as “NHL in ASL.” In 2024, UWM honored him as the ‘Graduate of the Last Decade,’ and at the 2024 ESPYS, he received the Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award for his trailblazing efforts in making professional sports more accessible to Deaf and hard of hearing fans. Since the 2024 Stanley Cup Final, he has produced over 26 ‘NHL in ASL’ broadcasts, been nominated for three Sports Emmys, and recently achieved the first Club level ‘NHL in ASL’ alt cast with the St. Louis Blues in early 2026. Most recently, he became the first ASL interpreter to interpret an entire sporting event for the Milwaukee Admirals. Outside of work, Brice is a world traveler, a pizza connoisseur, and an avid sports fan, specifically the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, college hoops, and European soccer.
Jason Altmann (on the right) is the COO of P-X-P and proud third generation Deaf. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts at UW- Madison, his Master’s at UW-Milwaukee, and a Doctor of Education at Northern Illinois University with an Ed.D. He became the first ever Deaf broadcaster in professional sports with the NHL in ASL at the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. He has continued broadcasting for every NHL in ASL since then including the 2025 NHL Winter Classic, Hockey Day in Canada, 2025 NHL Stadium Series, 2025 Stanley Cup Final, 2026 NHL Winter Classic, 2026 NHL Stadium Series, and 2026 Stanley Cup Final. During the 2025-2026 season, Jason transitioned to play-by-play broadcaster after being the color commentator in previous broadcasts. His broadcasting work with NHL in ASL earned him his first ever Sports Emmy Nomination for “Outstanding Digital Innovation” and he followed it up with two additional Sports Emmy Nominations at the 2026 Sports Emmys. Outside of work, Jason loves to read, enjoy craft beers, watching Wisconsin sports fan, and is a proud Green Bay Packers season ticket holder.
Fun fact: Jason and Brice grew up together in the Fox Cities of Wisconsin. His parents and Brice’s parents were good friends. They have known each other for over forty years and are best friends. The picture shown above is their first experience working with the NHL taken in 2022 at the 2022 Stanley Cup Final in Denver, CO. This experience paved the way for P-X-P to be a leader in accessibility for Deaf and hard of hearing sports fans and pioneer Deaf representation within professional sports.
